Rules and Regulations for SCHTO Students
A. Academic Conduct
1. Attend all classes punctually and participate actively in academic activities.
2. Complete assignments, tests, and projects within the stipulated deadlines.
3. Maintain academic integrity at all times. Cheating, plagiarism, or any form of academic dishonesty is strictly prohibited.
4. Respect faculty and staff and follow all instructions related to academic work.
B. Behaviour and Discipline
1. Students must conduct themselves in a respectful and orderly manner within the school premises.
2. Use of abusive language, bullying, harassment, or discrimination of any kind is forbidden.
3. Respect school property and that of others. Damaging property intentionally or through negligence will result in penalties.
4. Follow all classroom rules set by teachers and school authorities.
5. No student should abuse any lecturer or staff of the college.
6. No student should post any negativity post about the school, any student who do will face the legal consequences
7. No student should call any lecturer apart school hours.
C. Attendance and Punctuality
1. A minimum attendance rate (e.g., 75%–80%) is required to remain in good standing.
2. Late arrivals must provide valid reasons and follow sign-in procedures if applicable.
3. Repeated absenteeism, without valid explanation, may result in disciplinary action.
D. Dress Code
1. Students must appear in full and proper uniform as prescribed by the institution.
2. Uniform must be clean, neat, and well-maintained at all times.
3. Any accessories or clothing that violate the rules or distract from learning are not allowed.
E. Use of Mobile Phones and Electronic Devices
1. Mobile phones must be switched off or placed on silent mode during class hours.
2. Unauthorized use of devices during lessons or exams is prohibited.
3. Confiscated devices will be returned according to school policy.
F. Safety and Security
1. Students must follow all safety instructions in classrooms, laboratories, and sports areas.
2. No dangerous items (weapons, fireworks, harmful substances, etc.) are allowed on the premises.
3. Report any unsafe behaviour or suspicious activity to school authorities immediately.
G. Campus Cleanliness
1. Keep classrooms, restrooms, hostels, and all school areas clean and litter-free.
2. Dispose of waste in designated bins.
3. Vandalism or graffiti is strictly prohibited.
H. Extracurricular Activities
1. Participation in extracurricular activities is encouraged, but students must maintain discipline during events.
2. Students must seek approval before forming clubs or organizing activities.
I. Consequences for Misconduct
1. Violations of rules may lead to warnings, detention, suspension, or expulsion, depending on severity.
2. Repeated offenses will attract stricter penalties.
3. Serious cases may be referred to the disciplinary committee.
